Serbian sommelier and wine industry consultant Đurđa Katić talks to Paul Caputo about the developments at Serbia's Imperator Winery. Over the last decade or so this leading winery has embarked on a program of organic viticultural practices and is one of the pioneers of sustainable farming in the country's growing wine industry. Serbia has a rich winemaking history dating back centuries and with the planting of new grape varieties and the continuing refinement of it wine regions, it is beginning to clamour for attention in international markets. Durda is was of the leading voices when it comes to articulating Serbia's potential.
